EUCINF Workshop in Vienna

A second EUCINF workshop was held on June 24 in Vienna, organised by Forward Global and with the great support of the Austrian Ministry of Defence. This event brought together members of the End-User Advisory Board and the project Consortium to present and validate the progress made on the scenarios, the use cases and the high-level requirements for the EUCINF toolbox. It is an important milestone for EUCINF project, demonstrating the ability of the Consortium and the EUAB to pursue a coordinated effort to achieve effective European capabilities in cyber and information warfare.

EUCINF in OSINTOMATICO fair

EUCINF Offered a unique European approach to address the Cyber Information Warfare challenges (Fake News, misinformation, etc). Our project presented a reference repository of AI-based configurable applications and an experimental platform, aimed at comprehensively tackling the challenges posed by information operations in the digital space. At OSINTOMATICO, we showcased how EUCINF could empower both civilian and military entities within the EU to combat disinformation effectively. We demonstrated our AI toolkit's capabilities through the implementation of three operational CIW scenarios. These scenarios, developed in collaboration with military personnel from the Ministry of Defence (MoD), adhered to legal regulations and social expectations. Our goal was to derive the technical specifications of a European CIW toolbox system from these scenarios, demonstrating its relevance and effectiveness at strategic, operational, and tactical levels. Join us at OSINTOMATICO to witness firsthand how EUCINF is shaping the future of cybersecurity and information warfare in the EU.

January 2024

On January, representatives of the EUCINF, a project in the framework of European Defence Fund (EDF) and cofounded by European Union (EU), gathered at the Airbus Defence and Space facilities marking the start of the project.

This project involves 12 countries (France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Hungary, Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Austria, the Netherlands, Cyprus, and Germany), represented by 20 companies (Airbus DS, Airbus Cyber, Sahar, Bloom, Storyzy, AnozrWay, Forward Global, Approach, Leonardo, BV Tech, Indra, CyEX, Cybernetica, Space Hellas, Tilde, AIT, HENSOLDT Analytics, EclecticIQ, 8Bells, and Airbus DS GmbH), and 2 universities (Polytechnic University of Madrid and University of Murcia). During the session, representatives from the European Commission, Ministries of Defence (MoDs) and the EUCINF Beneficiaries, reviewed the project, revealed specific use cases and introduced the components of the toolbox. This facilitated a comprehensive understanding of the project, specially about the technical intricacies and the potent tools that will contribute significantly to its success.
