Eurosatory 2024: Strengthening Europe's Dialogue on Defence, Innovation and Cyber Resilience
Eurosatory 2024, held from 17 to 21 June at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre in France, once again confirmed its position as one of the world's leading international exhibitions dedicated to defence and security. Bringing together government representatives, armed forces, research organisations, technology companies and industrial leaders from across the globe, the event provided an exceptional platform for discussing the evolving challenges shaping today's security landscape.
Throughout the five-day exhibition, participants explored the latest developments in defence technologies, digital transformation, cyber resilience and operational capabilities. Alongside the extensive exhibition area, Eurosatory hosted numerous conferences, roundtable discussions and networking sessions where experts exchanged perspectives on emerging threats, technological innovation and the growing importance of international cooperation in safeguarding Europe's strategic autonomy.
Within this prestigious international forum, the EUCINF project was represented by Charlotte Graire (ADF), who participated in a dedicated roundtable discussion focused on the challenges posed by cyber and information warfare. Although no formal presentation was delivered, the discussion offered an excellent opportunity to introduce the project's objectives and explain how EUCINF contributes to strengthening European capabilities in addressing complex information threats.
During the session, particular attention was given to the project's vision of developing an AI-driven toolbox capable of supporting the detection, analysis and management of information operations. By combining advanced analytics, configurable applications and experimental environments, EUCINF aims to provide flexible technological solutions that help organisations better understand and respond to increasingly sophisticated hybrid threats affecting modern societies.
Participation in Eurosatory also enabled the consortium to engage with a broad spectrum of defence stakeholders, creating valuable opportunities to exchange ideas with representatives from industry, research institutions and public authorities.
