EUCINF Strengthens European Collaboration at the EU GUARDIAN Final Meeting

From 18–20 November, EUCINF participated in the EU GUARDIAN Final Meeting in Madrid, joining a distinguished group of European leaders in cyber defence, ethical AI, and digital security. The event marked an important milestone for the ecosystem of EU-funded defence innovation projects.

At EUCINF, our purpose is to promote responsible and trustworthy innovation in defence, ensuring that technological progress is grounded in transparency, security, and ethics. The Madrid meeting provided an excellent opportunity to reinforce this mission.

Throughout the sessions, the EUCINF team contributed actively to the project liaison agenda, engaging with partner initiatives within the European Defence Fund (EDF), including ECYSAP EYE, AIDA, and AINCEPTION. These cross-project exchanges help build a cohesive and interoperable European framework for the governance of autonomous systems and the development of resilient, secure defence capabilities.

Strengthening Collaboration Across Europe’s Defence and AI Communities

Strengthening collaboration within Europe’s defence and AI communities is essential to addressing emerging digital threats. This event underscored the shared commitment across EU projects to advance robust, ethical, and mission-ready AI technologies.

As EUCINF continues its work, we remain dedicated to shaping the future of digital defence—where innovation and responsibility align to protect European values and security.

If your work intersects with AI, cybersecurity, defence policy, or regulatory compliance, we invite you to follow EUCINF’s journey and stay connected with our progress in developing trustworthy AI and cyber-resilient solutions for Europe’s defence sector.
